The movie begins with Red, a hot-headed bird, living on Bird Island. Red's anger issues make it difficult for him to fit in with the other birds. However, when the green pigs, led by Leonard, invade the island, Red teams up with his friends, including Chuck, Bomb, and Matilda, to defeat the pigs and save their home.
