The Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) has an extensive library of iconic games that many gamers still cherish today. With the rise of console modding and emulation, it's become possible to play SNES games on various platforms, including the PlayStation 3 (PS3). This paper investigates the feasibility of running SNES games on PS3 using PKG files, a package file format used for distributing games and content on the PS3. We will examine the technical aspects, challenges, and potential benefits of this approach.
