The story takes place on the eve of a great battle between two armies of cousins, the Pandavas and the Kauravas, on the field of Kurukshetra. Arjuna, a skilled warrior and one of the Pandava brothers, is faced with a moral dilemma. He is asked to fight against his own kin and is torn between his duty as a warrior and his moral principles.
