Deskanime, a portmanteau of "desktop" and "anime," originated in the early 2000s, when animation software became more accessible and affordable for creators. This allowed individuals to produce high-quality animation without the need for expensive equipment or formal training. As a result, a new generation of animators emerged, experimenting with different styles and techniques.
